  1. General Intelligence and Reasoning:

The questions in this subject will include both verbal and nonverbal type. The exam might include questions on similarities, differences, problem solving, decision making, visual memory, relationship concepts, analysis,  verbal and figure classification, arithmetical number series etc.

  1. General Awareness: 

The questions in this subject will test the awareness of the awareness of the candidate regarding the surrounding environment and general knowledge. The test will also include questions on the history of India and subcontinent countries. It will also include, Geography, Culture, Economy, Politics and Scientific Research, etc.

SSC Junior Engineer Exam Tips:

  • Paper I is a computer based objective type test
  • Paper II is a written exam subjective type test
  • Carry required documents on the day of Exams 
  • Negative marking is applicable in paper 1 (- 0.25 marks will be deducted for 1 Wrong Answer)
  • Slide-rule, Calculator, Logarithm tables and Stream table are allowed for Paper 2 only.
  • Candidates must not bring or use Mobile Phone or any Electronic device inside the Examination premises. 
  • Answer Key for tests will be provided on the official website of SSC.
