SSC CGL Tier-I Exam Pattern – Computer Based Examination
The CGL Tier-I exam is an objective type exam which will be held via online mode. Total four sections available is the Tier-I exam with 100 questions which comprising of 200 marks. The details are given below:-

The Tier 3 exam would be a descriptive type paper and would be held via offline mode. This exam will carry 100 marks and time duration of the exam would be 1 hour. The Paper would comprise writing of a Passage of 250 words / Essay and Application /Letter Writing of approx 150 words. However, for qualifying in the Tier-III exam, candidates would be passed with 33% marks.

Candidates, who are eligible as per the given SSC CGL education qualification, only those are allowed to apply online for SSC CGL application from 2022. However, who are not eligible as per the given educational criteria, are not eligible for the SSC CGL Examination. SSC CGL 2022 Age Limit:
Candidate’s minimum age should be 18 years and applicants age must be under the decided age criteria as per the SSC CGL Posts.
The Commission has changed the upper age limit to 30 years for the posts which code are K, L, M and P. The age limit should be read as “not exceeding 30 years” for Inspector (Central Excise), Inspector (Preventive Officer), Inspector (Examiner) under CBEC & the age limit for Inspector post (Department of Post) the age limit can be read as “18 to 30 years”.

SSC CGL 2022 Application Fee – The required application fee is Rs. 100/-
No fee is required to be paid by female, ST, SC, Physically Handicapped, and Ex-Servicemen candidates. Applications fee should be paid only through SBI either in the form of challan or through SBI Net Banking or any other bank Credit/Debit Card. For paying the Application fee in cash, applicants should be taken a printout of challan generated online after the completion the SSC CGL 2022 Part-1 registration. Deposit the requisite fee in any branch of SBI as well as then continue with the SSC CGL Part-2 registration 2022. Candidates who want to pay the online application fee may go directly to part-2 registration after completing the part-1 registration procedure.
